George Davies, the founder of Next, George at Asda and Per Una – said he had identified a gap in the market for a womenswear chain which combined good service with “fun” in-store…this new store being GIVe, which is available in 6 own stores and 14 independent department stores from October 1st around the country and 2 further own stores which will be opening at the end of October. The ‘affordable luxury’ brand is aimed to cater for image-savvy women of all ages, the label looks at designer style with the focus being on luxurious fabrics and the ultimate in attention to detail!
GIVe stores are designed to give amazing service and stand out above other high street brands by having in-store internet kiosks giving customers real-time stock information and video content of the garments on a catwalk, as well as enabling shoppers to order for home delivery! Service is a massive factor when shopping, especially for clothing and this does seem to be a trick which many stores are missing out on! Personally if i’m shopping and get given bad service or served by some miserable unhelpful sales advisor I prefer not to shop at that place again, so can shops really lose out on customers due to a factor which is so easily fixable?! This is a main aspect for GIVe stores with service being paramount to the whole retail experience in every GIVe store. Style Advisors will be on hand to assist with the Customer’s every need. Extensive research has been undertaken to make sure that the garments flatter and fit beautifully, on different sizes and shapes!
Another one of the cool aspects which the GIVe stores will provide is tailors to do in-store alterations, giving consumers clothes a unique and perfect fit! This focus on tailoring and fit can also be seen on the brands website – www.give.co.uk, or look at http://club.give.co.uk/tailor-made! The online size guide gives every dimension you would need, as well as a ‘How to Measure Video’. The website itself is actually really good, its user friendly and informative with loads of cool features, including nice product shots (on models), a catwalk video, clear descriptions and care guides, plus ‘style with’ suggestions, style advice guides, trends and loads more…visit the site and have a look 🙂
